Life is amazing and challenging all at once. Demands are made regularly-go to school or work; complete tasks; take care of yourself and others…the list is endless. We all need some way to recharge from the activity of each day, especially those days that are particularly trying. Resilience acts as a vital attribute, allowing individuals to withstand and bounce back from adversities. One significant component of building resilience is cultivating strong relationships. No one is an island. We all need personal interaction to feel emotionally balanced and mentally sharp. Having a solid support system comprised of friends, family, and colleagues plays an essential role in one’s ability to navigate through life’s challenges.
